Editor’s note: Adam Fogerty was kind enough to guest post about his experiences on the set of Love’s Kitchen. Here were some of his reflections…
To whom it may concern,
Even though James Hacking didn’t give me the part I begged him for (i.e Dougray Scott‘s part) Rob Haley or the money I begged him for (i.e. the same as Dougray). And even though he wouldn’t write a love scene in the film for me with Michelle Ryan…
Or a kissing scene with Claire Forlani…
Or give me a trailer with my name on it…
I still decided to play the part of Terry the bodyguard…
Why you may be asking your self…?
Well for 3 simple reasons:
Number 1? I loved the characters and the story James has created it has everything a great film should have highs and lows , love and laughter, characters you feel for and food…
Number 2? I know it is going to be a huge success and James has promised me my character will be in the five follow-up movies with love scenes my own trailer and loads of dialog to steal the show…
Number 3? The promised of a salt beef bagel from brick lane whatever that is I’m still waiting for…
It was a great pleasure working with all the cast and crew especially Simon Callow one of the finest actors iv ever shared a screen with he will probably win an Oscar and forget to take me another promise I was made?
But all in all Number 4 did I say 3? Sorry, meant 4…
I believe in the project the people and the performances as Tony the tiger would say in the frosty advert…
There greaaaate
Love,
Adam Fogerty x
